The interest in painting has always been close, as long as he can remember. Hastily jotted down sketches, ideas and thoughts, which in the bright hours of the day take on color and shape. Results that are often surprising and unprepared.
Clay, which then becomes bronze, steel, glass or some other material. Simple sensual lines with tight graphic reliefs where the shadows create the colors. No unnecessary details – the feeling is the essential thing.
Since 1978, Frank has continuously had exhibitions in Sweden and abroad. Today, his works can be found in companies, institutions and private collections in Sweden and around the world. His studios are on Dalarö in the Stockholm archipelago, where you can see and follow the process.

Our Story
Tomas and Mimmi Hammar
Gallery Hammar was founded in 2023 by the artist couple Tomas and Mimmi Hammar, who had long shared a dream of owning their own gallery where they could exhibit their art together.
The idea of establishing an art gallery in Vasastan was born as early as 2017 when Tomas was at the beginning of his artistic journey. After the impact of the pandemic, the goal became even clearer. In May 2023, Gallery Hammar opened its doors at Rörstrandsgatan 28 and currently represents around 20 artists and sculptors.
At Gallery Hammar, we offer a wide variety of Scandinavian art from both established artists and new talents whose works touch, challenge, and inspire. Our vision is to promote an innovative, inclusive, unconventional, and accessible space for both artists and customers. We constantly strive to provide a unique, modern, and relaxed environment where exciting encounters, interesting conversations, and lasting relationships contribute to a sense of community for all visitors.
Before embarking on their artistic careers, Tomas and Mimmi pursued different paths—Tomas dedicated over 20 years to photography and TV production, while Mimmi worked in HR for almost 10 years. Their diverse backgrounds have been of great benefit in the joint professional journey they have undertaken, often reflected in their roles as both artists and gallery owners.
